The Invention of the Cardboard Bicycle →

This is how the said bike looks like: (x) I’ve been meaning to write about this, but it was the idea itself was too awesome for me to wrap the words around it at first. If you don’t know about it yet, an inventor called Izhar Gafni apparently found a way to make a strong, durable, waterproof, and fireproof cardboard bicycle that will cost $20. I found that so awe-inspiring when I read the news that I actually kept thinking about it for days. I think it’s just that the innovation and accomplishment of the idea that really makes me want to tip my hat to this sir. (Thankfully, I have many hats.) It also helps those in 3rd world countries who are in need of efficient and cheap transportation. I’m guessing there’ll be a huge mark-up in the price when it comes out in the US later this year or early next year, but I could come around getting one for myself, too. We’ll see how it goes.
