A painting I did a few weeks back in school. We were supposed to paint a figure in an environment. I completely forgot about it and happened to stumble upon it while cleaning my desktop. Realizing the original file is gone I thought I might as well upload whats left of it before it disappears for good. Its been quite a while since I painted landscapes, but it was refreshing to just mess around. Make of it what you want. : )

Alice showed this picture to me a while back. It was her inspiration for a new song we’ve been working on. Very nice job.

A new song? Yes, yes…. (The hints are so subtle :D) Anyway, yeah, it’s a lovely painting and there’s something about it (as I look at it over time) that’s so profound. I’ve seen a lot of art but this is absolutely one of my favorites.
